Protect Your Vibes

1. Prohibited scans

You may not use PYV to scan:

Any site you do not own or lack written authorization to test
Government or military systems
Critical infrastructure — power, water, telecom, hospitals, transportation — unless you hold an explicit contract covering the engagement
Systems subject to HIPAA, PCI-DSS Level 1, FedRAMP, or similar frameworks, without a signed engagement letter that covers testing

2. Prohibited actions

DoS or DDoS attempts via scan flooding or concurrency abuse
Attempts to bypass our rate limits or ownership gates
Automated account creation at scale
Reverse-engineering our scanner or detection logic
Reselling or sublicensing scan results as a standalone service
Using the Service to harass, dox, or enable harm to any person

3. Responsible disclosure

If you find a vulnerability in the PYV application itself, email security@protectyourvibes.ai. We credit researchers who follow coordinated disclosure and hold findings for 90 days before publication (or longer if the fix is non-trivial). See also our security.txt.

4. Reporting abuse

Saw someone using PYV against a target they don't own? Email abuse@protectyourvibes.ai with evidence (scan ID, domain, timestamp). We respond within two business days.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity: warning, suspension, or termination of the account
We may report illegal activity to law enforcement, including preserving logs for legal process
We may share abuse signals with other infrastructure providers to coordinate defense against bad actors
Terminated accounts lose access to historical scan data. Export your data first via GET /api/me/export.

6. Rate limits

Anonymous — 5 scans per hour per IP
Free account — 20 scans per month
Pro — 500 scans per month
Team — 5,000 scans per month
Enterprise — custom, negotiated per contract

We may apply transient throttles to protect scan targets from incidental load, even within your quota. See the Terms of Engagement for tier definitions.
